You’ll need
WooCommerce 8.0+, CartPresets, and a few products to sell together
This tutorial builds one preset: a set of products at a price you choose, behind a link that fills the cart. By the end you’ll have a link ready to share.
-
01
Create the preset
Go to Cart Presets → Add New Preset. Type a Name in the Preset details card. The Slug fills in as you type; it’s the part that appears in the link, so “Starter Kit” becomes
starter-kit.The Internal description is for your team. Customers never see it.
-
02
Add the items
In the Items card, click Add store product, search by name or SKU, and click Use product. Repeat for each product in the set.
Each item has its own Quantity. For a variable product, choose every option, such as the colour: a preset has nobody to ask at cart time, so each option needs an answer. The arrows at the start of each row set the order items land in the cart.
-
03
Set the price
Each item carries its own discount: None, Percentage, Fixed amount off or Custom price. The preset’s total is the sum of its lines.
For a kit you’ve advertised at a set price, use Custom price and give each item the price it should carry. The Pricing summary recalculates as you type and shows what the cart will charge.
-
04
Check the health panel
Health checks on the right flags anything that needs a look. A warning will work but may not be what you meant; a check marked Blocks saving has to be fixed first. Click any check to jump to its field.
-
05
Save and share
Click Save preset. The Preset link card fills in with the live URL, for example
https://yourstore.com/preset/starter-kit. Click Copy and put it in an email, a post or a QR code.A preset goes live the moment you save it. To prepare one now and sell it later, give it a start date.
-
06
Try it yourself
Open the link in a private window, so you arrive as a customer would. You should land on the cart with every item in it and a total that matches the editor.
