We want you to know a plugin fits before you pay for it, and we fix problems when they come up. This policy explains when we refund a purchase and how to ask for one. By buying a plugin from us, you agree to it.

Try before you buy

Most of our plugins have a free version on WordPress.org, and our documentation shows how each one works. If you’re not sure a plugin does what you need, send us a pre-sales question from the support page before you buy, and we’ll tell you whether it fits.

When we refund

If a paid plugin has a bug that stops it working as described, and we can’t fix it, we refund the purchase. Ask within 14 days of buying it.

Before a refund, we’ll ask you to work through the problem with us: tell us what happens, send screenshots, and give us a fair chance to fix it. Once the refund is agreed, deactivate the licence and remove the plugin from your sites.

When we don’t refund

We don’t refund a purchase when:

  • you changed your mind or no longer need the plugin;
  • the plugin doesn’t do something its product page and documentation never said it does;
  • you bought it by mistake;
  • the problem comes from another plugin, a theme or your hosting, not from our code;
  • you need help setting the plugin up (support is there for that);
  • more than 14 days have passed since you bought it.

How to ask for a refund

Send a message from the support page with Licence, billing or refund as the reason, or email [email protected]. Include:

  • the email address you bought with;
  • the plugin and its order or licence;
  • what went wrong, with screenshots if you can.

How refunds are paid

Payments for our plugins are processed by Freemius, and refunds go back the same way, to the card or account you paid with. When the money arrives depends on your bank or payment provider.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and the version in force when you bought a plugin applies to that purchase.
